The family of the late Jimmy O’Hara wish to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to friends and neighbours who visited our home, sent cards and messages of sympathy or attended the funeral. Sincere thanks to Father Paddy McKenna for his visits to the house and his kind words at the funeral. To Niamh McGlinchy for the beautiful music, to Clare in the Parish Centre for supplying refreshments after the burial and to James Henry Funeral Services for taking care of all the funeral arrangements. Our heartfelt thanks to the carers and staff of The Glens Residential Home in Cushendall for their loving care and attention to Jimmy and for making his stay there such a happy one. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
O’Hara James (Jimmy) 19th October 2023, peacefully at Glens Residential Home, Cushendall, formerly of Parkmount Crescent, Ballymena. Much loved husband of the late Sheila R.I.P. and loving brother of Olive, Roisin, Gerald and the late Tom, John, Pat, Liam, Kathleen, Artie R.I.P. and a much loved uncle. His remains will be removed from the home of his sister and brother in law Olive and Bertie Montgomery, 90 Beech Drive, Ballymena on Saturday 21st October at 9.30am to All Saints Church for funeral after 10am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards St. Partrick’s burying ground Crebilly. Family and friends welcome to call at 90 Beech Drive, Ballymena from 4pm to 8pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, may be sent to James Henry Funeral Services, 100 Broughshane Street, Ballymena BT43 6EE for The Alzheimer’s Society N.I. Sadly missed by his sisters, brother, nephews, nieces and family circle.
